About Perth Smart Chess Academy

Perth Smart Chess Academy is a place where beginning and novice players can learn to play chess, develop their chess skills, work with a teacher one-one-one and in groups, play games, and even participate in tournaments. Everyone is welcome to participate in our lessons, tournaments and activities. We teach children from the age of 3. We also teach to many primary school students and conduct many tournaments. Our Academy will teach all the students from the very beginning and help them to achieve their goal.

Our vision is to create the best chess academy in Australia for children at an affordable cost and at the same time improves their memory and concentration power. We want our students to win more prizes in both National and International Level. We always put the need of the children's first and we put our full efforts to bring out the best in them.

OUR APPROACH

We always follow the quote "When you see a good move, look for a better move". We conduct many practise test against computer and one on one match among the students to improve their skills. Many long and short form tournaments are conducted for the students regularly and we try to create exciting opportunities for students to take up chess as their profession.

TATYANA IG

Tatyana is the mother and first coach of International Grandmaster Kuybokarov Temur who is a 2017 and 2019 Australian Open Chess Championship, 2020 Australia Chess Champion and winner of many International Chess Tournaments around the world. Tatyana trained her son, with the help of famous coaches, and also created a special preparation program to develop and grow his skills.As a result of this program, he grew to the level of Grandmaster and is now number one chess player in Australia.

We conduct offline classes at rise in Maylands for a small group of students.The classes will be for all groups from beginner to advanced.The classes will be divided into 3 batches.

Whenever you feel you have had sufficient practise. You can play.

Chess increases child’s IQ score and improve their problem solving skills. 

In order to see a substantial growth in your child’s progress, we recommend spending about 4-5 hours for chess every week.
